About Us
Gratitude is our foundation
White Harbor emerged out of a pursuit to support the community of Bahia Blanca after the terrible storm of December 2023. Bahia Blanca was going through a devastating reality. The city was destroyed and thousands of families were left without water and electricity for months. We felt an urge to get together and show what solidarity means to us.
Why Bahia Blanca?
Bahia Blanca is the city of our parents and our four grandparents. It is the city that welcomes us every December when we go to celebrate Christmas with our 6 aunts, 5 uncles, and 16 cousins. It is the city where we discovered the best ice cream and asado in the world. It is a city full of incredible people and we want to help them thrive. It is our home away from home.
Why Education?
Education was our parents propeller for growth and the best tool to access opportunities. Every year, when we visit our family in Bahia Blanca, we see how many families struggle to get access to education. We witness how poverty can get on the way of possibilities. It was our time to give back. We decided we will help families access education, and that is how White Harbor was born.
How it All Started
In August 2023, through La Escuela CT in Greenwich, CT, we fundraised and traveled to Alfarcito in the Province of Salta in Argentina to help a rural school build a greenhouse. That experience planted the seed for what today is White Harbor.
White Harbor was founded in December 2023, after Bahia Blanca suffered a terrible storm that destroyed most of the city. When we arrived, we found a city that was collapsed; the first two days we spent our time removing trees from the streets and cleaning up storm debris. Then, we got the opportunity to participate in a food drive for Elementary School N6, which was the elementary school of our dad. That's when all pieces came together and White Harbor was born.
Our goal is to make an impact in Bahia Blanca by focusing on Education.
We collaborate with local partners, volunteers and institutions to deliver help and resources.
Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many people in Bahia Blanca.

Before the storm
There is no better way for you to get to know Bahia Blanca than through images. As you browse our site, take a few moments to let your eyes linger here, and see if you can get a sense of our sadness for what happened to this beautiful city.

After the storm
These images are painful to see. So much loss, so much damage, so much destruction.
