I am writing to you from Bahía Blanca. I want to thank you for your worthy and loving initiative. I want to congratulate you!! Only a few people understand human suffering and are willing to find ways to help others.

Your parents and grandparents are from Bahia Blanca, Argentina. The foundations they have instilled in you are a source of pride. I want to extend my congratulations to them. Thank you! You will always be welcome.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to team up helping the students of School 510. The decision to contribute to White Harbor (Bahía Blanca) was very easy because precisely, they represent some of the most important objectives we have in tenth grade. We wish to train young entrepreneurs who are empathetic citizens of the world about needed causes. We wish to train young people who are willing to use their talents to improve the quality of life of the people around them, especially the Hispanic community to which we belong...

December 16 brings a thousand stories, but this is an example that good things can come from tragedy.
Once upon a time there were three siblings who lived in the United States.  On December 2023, they decided to come to Bahia to spend the holidays with their family. They got the worst surprise, Bahia Blanca had exploded into a thousand pieces. The kids didn't understand how people could live without electricity, without water, without internet. This terrible circumstance caused a huge impact on them adding to the fact that they are educated with the principle that they must give back to society.
They went back home in the US and in a conversation with their parents , they decided to create White Harbor, organization that raises funds to help people in need. They wanted to focus on education.
Their parents contacted me and gave me the highest priority search in the face of so much need. At that moment, Marisa, a family from Cerri, was was left with nothing. She had two girls and with a system that left her outside of any possible aid. They helped me help this family!
However, they still wanted to continue helping so many people in need.
My head didn't stop spinning those days. Finally, I listening to a note, I saw the director of school 510 saying that everything had been stolen from the school. Yes, everything!!! From the computers, the printer, the tools for the workshops, THE TOILET PAPER🤦‍♀️... I mentioned this and White Harbor told me MOVE ON!
We started with the budgets, visits to the school...in a week they started again. It was necessary to set an alarm with monitoring. Since the government was completely absent, the kids from White Harbor, together with their Argentine School in Connecticut and the Lazos foundation, undertook the mission of raising funds. They did raffles, events, sold candy..and you know what???? It was a success!!! Our school 510 has everything already (we are missing a speaker, a sewing machine, a printer and two stupid things from the workshops, due to lack of time, but I wanted to tell you about it)
Thanks also to José Manuel Urquiola from Compumix La Plata, today they have two new computers.
Thank you Sofia, Santiago and Manuel, they are examples that I love to show!!!
PS: go to their page and see how wonderful they are and where you can help with the assurance that things are done well there.
Today, the closest project is to grant students scholarships.
I feel happy for being part of this team!!!

It has been a great satisfaction to have received the email with the decision to contribute to Orquesta Escuela del Barrio Miramar. For this reason, on behalf of the Cultural Director of Bahia Blanca, Mrs. Natalia Martirena, we would like to express our deepest gratitude and congratulations for such a noble undertaking that you carry out from a distance, for the good of the city of Bahía Blanca. Gestures like yours are worth highlighting. From Bahia Blanca, we send a cordial greeting and a warm hug to each one of those who are concerned with their city of origin.
